Dental implants are done in stages. The first stage will involve seeing a dental specialist that will insert the titanium implant into the jaw bone and once the implant has integrated (which can take a
few months), then one of our dentists will then proceed to restore the implant with a dental crown.

Yes it is. dental whitening is safe when done correctly and under the guidance of a dental professional. Professional whitening treatments, whether in-office or through dentist-approved take-home kits, use regulated concentrations of whitening agents and are customized for your teeth, reducing the risk of sensitivity and gum irritation.
It’s always best to consult your dentist to determine the most suitable whitening method for your specific needs. Professional supervision ensures a safer and more effective result, helping you achieve a brighter smile with minimal risk.

Bleeding gums are often a sign of gum inflammation, commonly caused by plaque buildup along the gumline. This can happen if plaque isn’t effectively removed by daily brushing and flossing. When plaque hardens into tartar, it can irritate the gums, leading to gingivitis, an early stage of gum disease. Other factors, such as using a toothbrush with hard bristles, brushing too aggressively, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal changes, and certain medications, can also contribute to gum bleeding.
If your gums bleed frequently or if you notice swelling or discomfort, it’s important to see a dentist. Early intervention can prevent the progression of gum disease and protect your oral health. Regular professional cleanings and good oral hygiene practices can also help keep your gums healthy.

Sensitive teeth are often caused by the exposure of the inner layer of the tooth, called dentine, due to enamel wear or gum recession. When the protective enamel layer wears down or gums recede, the tiny channels in the dentin that lead to the tooth’s nerves are exposed. This can lead to discomfort or pain when consuming hot, cold, acidic, or sweet foods and drinks. Common causes include:
Brushing too hard or using a hard-bristled toothbrush, which can wear down enamel and cause gums to recede.
Tooth grinding (bruxism), which can wear away enamel.
Acidic foods and drinks that erode enamel over time.
Gum disease, which can cause gums to pull away from teeth.
Tooth decay or cracked teeth, which may expose the dentin or inner pulp.

If you have sensitive teeth, a dental visit can help identify the underlying cause and determine the best treatment, whether it’s using desensitizing toothpaste, fluoride treatments, or other options.
